Job Summary:

The Food Safety Officer ensures that all food handling, preparation, and service processes comply with local regulations and international food safety standards. This role is critical in maintaining product quality, customer safety, and the brand’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and hygiene policies across operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Train and guide staff on food handling, sanitation, and HACCP/ISO standards.
  • Investigate and resolve food safety concerns, non-conformities, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Culinary, and Quality teams to drive best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with DOH, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and certifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Nutrition, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance (F&B industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and local food safety regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective trainer and communicator with the ability to influence teams.
  • Certification in HACCP/ISO or equivalent is a strong advantage.
