Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Site Electrical Engineer to supervise and coordinate electrical installation works for construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical activities are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and schedules while maintaining quality and operational excellence throughout project execution.

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Review electrical drawings, technical submittals, method statements, and material specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure adherence to applicable electrical codes, project standards, and construction specifications.
• Coordinate with Construction Managers, Electrical Supervisors, QA/QC personnel, Safety Officers, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare work plans, look-ahead schedules, and manpower requirements for electrical construction activities.
• Manage inspection requests, testing activities, and quality documentation related to electrical works.
• Monitor productivity, project progress, and resource utilization to ensure timely project delivery.
• Identify and resolve site technical issues, construction conflicts, and installation concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch listing, and project handover activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and project stakeholders.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• PRC Licensed Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) or Registered Electrical and Communications Engineer (RECE) is preferred. Registered Master Electrician (RME) is an advantage.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the construction and installation of electrical systems for industrial, power, energy, manufacturing, data center, or large-scale MEPFS projects.
• At least three (3) years of experience as a Site Electrical Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Power Distribution Systems
• Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) Systems
• Lighting Systems
• Grounding and Lightning Protection Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Auxiliary and Special Systems
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC), IEEE, IEC, and other applicable project standards.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple project priorities.
