Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and proven leadership skills to manage complex financial data and meet tight deadlines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, policies, and financial regulations.
• Manage the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, reports, and schedules with a high degree of accuracy.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including complex formulas and data visualization tools, to streamline financial analysis and reporting processes.
• Lead and coordinate the accounting team by delegating tasks, breaking down complex projects, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet deadlines.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, including the use of MS Office tools and accounting software such as SAP, to enhance data processing accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and manage large volumes of financial data, ensuring timely and precise processing under pressure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide accurate financial insights and support business decision-making.
• Identify discrepancies or accounting issues promptly and apply analytical problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial information.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance management to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Management
• Prior experience as an Accounting Supervisor (minimum of 2-3 years)
• Experience of working with MS Office and accounting software (e.g. SAP)
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong command of advanced formulas, data visualization tools (charts), and complex spreadsheet functions for efficient financial analysis and reporting.
• Thorough understanding of accounting and bookkeeping, including key procedures, principles, and compliance with financial regulations.
• Proven ability to manage and process large volumes of financial data accurately and efficiently, even under tight deadlines.
• Skilled in breaking down complex tasks, delegating responsibilities, and distributing work effectively to ensure smooth team operations.
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and lead accounting teams successfully.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high degree of accuracy in all financial documentation and processes.
• Analytical thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
