Theoria’s Technology Department is currently seeking a dynamic Compliance Lead to join our team. As a Compliance Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for maintaining a culture of compliance.
Shift Structure:
- Monday-Friday 10am-6pm EST
- Remote
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Process Improvement: Develop and improve compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Strategic Planning: Design and execute a comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Compliance Execution: Monitor adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate compliance risks and investigate breaches or violations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on compliance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or related field; compliance certifications preferred.
- 7+ years of compliance experience in a relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be punctual or on time and adhere to the company's Time and Attendance policy.
- Must be able to remain sitting for the majority of their shift.
