About the role

As a Merchandiser, you will be the face of our brand at point-of-sale, working to maximise product visibility and drive consumer engagement. Your work will directly impact sales performance and brand presence in the market, making this a strategically important role within our retail operations.

1. Set up and maintain attractive product displays at retail locations, ensuring optimal shelf placement and visual appeal
2. Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks to ensure products are always available and well-stocked on shelves
3. Implement promotional campaigns and point-of-sale materials in accordance with company guidelines and marketing strategies
4. Build and maintain positive relationships with retail store managers and staff to secure prime shelf space and promotional support
5. Execute merchandising plans and product launches, ensuring compliance with all company standards and specifications
6. Track competitor activity and market trends, providing feedback to management on merchandising effectiveness and customer preferences
7. Conduct product demonstrations and engage with consumers to educate them about product benefits and features
8. Report on merchandising activities, sales data, and store conditions through regular documentation and communication with the management team
9. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in all merchandising activities

1. Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar retail or sales support role, ideally within the consumer goods or beverage industry
2. Strong visual merchandising skills with an eye for detail and an ability to create eye-catching displays
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with retail partners and team members
4. Physical capability to lift, carry, and arrange products regularly, as the role involves hands-on activity throughout the day
5. Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic computer systems for inventory tracking and reporting
6. Reliability and punctuality, with a flexible approach to working hours that may include early mornings or weekends
7. Knowledge of retail operations and point-of-sale merchandising best practices
8. Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively with store teams and management
9. A customer-focused mindset with enthusiasm for promoting quality products
10. Willingness to travel within Iloilo to service multiple retail accounts
11. Preferably has a personal vehicle (motorcycle); with professional driver's license
