Job Description:
- Performs start-up and end of shift activities of cooks and production area including daily equipment check and temperature monitoring. Contacts maintenance as needed and follows up to ensure proper food safety.
- Ensures consistent compliance of all safety and health codes.
- in-charge of receiving stocks deliveries in good condition. Coordinates stocks/mise en place to ensure sufficient and proper food items are available during meal service.
- Prepares and cooks, food for service, scratch cooking from basic ingredients, garnished in an attractive manner.
- To maintain a high standard of specified work in accordance with the head chef.
- To prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibility, ensuring that the highest food safety protocol.
- To carry out daily and weekly procedures, including temperature checks, food labelling/dating and storage.
- To adhere to company procedures in regards to temperature check, food quality, labeling with date and maintaining of equipment in good condition.
- Consistently maintaining all dishes are visually appealing and appetizing
- Ensure that hygiene requirements are diligently followed.
- Involvement on beating the monthly target of Food cost, paper cost, wastages and spoilages.
- Communicates to appropriate staff in an effective and team like manner.
- Pleasing personality.
- Shifts : Opening or Closing
Job Specifications:
- Minimum of four (1-2) years of working experience in the same industry.
- knowledgeable in food safety practices and/or HACCP.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules and during weekends and holidays
- Preferably residing near Antipolo Rizal Area.
