Commercial Finance Officer

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-focused Commercial Finance Officer to partner with key stakeholders in driving profitable growth. This role plays a critical part in financial planning, commercial decision support, performance analysis, and investment evaluation, providing insights that enable the business to achieve its financial and operational objectives.

• Drive Business Performance Analysis Monitor and analyze sales, margins, expenses, and key financial metrics, providing actionable insights through variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Provide Commercial Decision Support Evaluate the financial viability of business initiatives, capital investments, promotional campaigns, and marketing spend, ensuring sound assumptions and strong return on investment.
• Lead Financial Planning and Forecasting Support the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, latest estimates, and long-term strategic plans to guide business performance and resource allocation.
• Develop Management Reporting and Insights Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and financial presentations that highlight business trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Partner with Cross-Functional Teams Act as a trusted finance business partner to commercial and operational teams, participating in business reviews and management meetings to support data-driven decision-making.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or other related field.
• CPA, CMA, CFA, or CIMA designation is an advantage but not required.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Finance, or a related finance role, preferably in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer industries.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
