Job Summary
The Finance and Accounting Associate supports financial operations by processing transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies
- Support invoice processing, billing, and payment follow-ups
- Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required
- Maintain documentation and financial data confidentiality
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
- 0–3 years of experience in finance and accounting operations
- BPO/shared services experience preferred
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle volume-driven work
- Problem-solving mindset
