ABOUT THE ROLE
SHG SERVICES INC. is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner Senior Manager to join our Human Resources team in Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic leadership position that plays a crucial role in aligning human resources initiatives with overall business objectives.
As HR Business Partner Senior Manager, you will serve as a trusted business partner to senior leadership and key business units, driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and sustainable growth. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on operational expertise to influence and shape the future of our organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and develop a team of Junior HRBPs across all SHG brands and locations
- Serve as the primary HR partner for brand heads and operations leaders — translating business needs into people strategies
- Champion on-ground employee engagement through "Kamustahan" sessions, CSR programs, and brand-aligned activities
- Monitor and govern third-party workforce compliance, ensuring adherence to labor laws, SLAs, and internal HR standards
- Conduct regular store visits and floor walks to maintain visibility and connection with frontline teams
- Build and maintain HR dashboards and reports — covering turnover, headcount, engagement, and compliance metrics
- Manage employee relations concerns including grievances, disciplinary actions, and labor compliance
- Partner with HR leadership on workforce planning, org design, and people initiatives across all brands
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR business partner or HR management role
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic HR initiatives that directly impact business performance
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, talent management, organizational development, and employee relations
- Experience with HR systems, analytics, and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead complex HR projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance requirements in the Philippines
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members effectively
- Experience in a similar industry or with multi-location organizations is preferred
