Social Media Manager & Content Strategist
About the Role
Straightforward Education Group is looking for a creative, strategic, organized, and execution-driven Social Media Manager & Content Strategist to support the company's brands, sub-brands, and CEO-led marketing initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who knows how to plan, create, and execute content strategies that drive engagement, inquiries, conversions, and brand authority.
Key Responsibilities- Manage company social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Develop and execute monthly content calendars
- Schedule and publish content consistently across platforms
- Monitor engagement, comments, messages, and audience growth
- Research social media trends, viral formats, audience behavior, and competitor strategies
- Create educational, founder-led, inspirational, and conversion-focused content
- Assist in scripting short-form and long-form video content
- Plan campaigns for promotions, webinars, events, and brand-building initiatives
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and marketing team members
- Ensure brand consistency across all campaigns
- Track engagement, reach, growth, and conversion metrics
- Prepare simple weekly or monthly performance reports
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content strategy, content planning, brand marketing, creator marketing, or founder-led marketing
- Must have a proven track record or portfolio showing social media growth, high-performing content, audience engagement, brand-building results, lead generation, or campaign success
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and digital trends
- Demonstrated experience managing all four major social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong copywriting and caption-writing skills
- Comprehensive content creation skills across all content types including writing, graphics design, video editing, and multimedia production
- Ability to manage multiple projects and brands simultaneously
- Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Intermediate-level social media analytics experience with ability to analyse performance data, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights for campaign optimisation
- Knowledge in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and analytics tools
- Experience supporting CEO-led or founder-led marketing is an advantage
- Experience in education, study abroad, or service-based marketing is a plus
- Photography and videography skills are an advantage but not required
Educational Background
Preferred graduates of Marketing, Communication, Multimedia Arts, Advertising, Business Management, Digital Media, or any related field.
