Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will also play a critical role in mentoring accounting staff and improving financial processes to support the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review the work of Accounting Staff, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist the Finance Manager in budget planning, cost control, and variance analysis to support the profitability of product lines
• Oversee reconciliation of bank accounts, supplier ledgers, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, and inventory-related accounting to align with audit requirements.
• Lead and mentor accounting staff to maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements in financial workflows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• In-depth knowledge of BIR compliance, government contributions, and financial reporting standards
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced, growing environment and manage multiple priorities
