Pooling: Material Planner

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Material Planner to oversee end-to-end material planning operations and lead a high-performing team. This role ensures timely material availability, supports production efficiency, and drives continuous improvement across supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers to resolve production and shipment-related issues.
• Manage purchase order releases and ensure timely material supply.
• Lead vendor payment reconciliation with Warehouse and Finance teams.
• Oversee inventory control and manage excess/obsolete (E&O) parts.
• Conduct supplier capacity analysis to avoid long-term storage.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and Design Change Notices (DCNs).
• Monitor daily production plans to meet order requirements.
• Guide planners in supplier communications (delivery, quality, budget).
• Recommend actions for slow or non-moving inventory.

• Lead and manage the planning team, assign tasks, and track KPIs.
• Drive recruitment, training, and performance development.
• Identify and implement productivity improvements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting (e.g., CR monitoring, PO governance).
• Promote Cavite Supply Chain services and support cross-functional synergy.
• Provide timely feedback and support to internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in material planning, inventory control, and team leadership.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
