QA tester - Muntinlupa

Shift: Day Shift

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Review requirements and design documents to create comprehensive and detailed test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports, and verify bug fixes.
• Maintain, execute, and update manual test cases as needed.
• Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts (a plus).
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support UAT activities and provide documentation for regulatory/compliance needs.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in QA testing (experience in digital banking or fintech environments is a plus).
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman; knowledge of automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus.
• Familiarity with banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage.
