The Logistics Team Leader is responsible for executing business strategies and developing operational plans for various logistics functions which include warehouse and distribution operations, resource planning, customer service, asset management, etc.It directs daily operations and manages a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Administration and Execution of Management Policies
- Warehouse Operations
- Transport Operations
- Fleet & Asset Management
- Financial Management
- Third Party Relations
- Continuous Improvement / Project Management
- People Management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field
- Three years of experience in logistics warehouse and distribution operations
- Two years of people management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business management tools like SAP and MS Dynamics
- Has an advanced knowledge of warehouse and inventory management
- Has a general understanding of supply chain processes
- With strong communication and stakeholder management skills for interacting with senior managers and partners
- Has the ability to coach and support staff development, lead and motivate teams, and maintain high integrity and compliance with policies
- Has the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks
- With strong attention to detail and organizational skills
