Accounting Officer - Manila

The Accounting Officer will be responsible in analyzing all financial activities of the company such as organizing expenses, sorting payment requests, verifying the accounts payable and receivable, keeping up-to-date account records, and ensuring smooth financial transactions with the clients.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Process the accounts payable and receivable accurately
• Perform internal audits on financial activities of the company and its subsidiaries
• Provide solutions and immediate response to the inquiries about the company’s expenses
• Prepare and provide support for the day-to-day processing of the company’s budget
• Manage the business accounts and prepare all financial statements required for management presentations.
• Make sure that all of the business cost records are updated and accurate
• Generate financial reports in order to provide recommendations and solutions to the management
• Review both incoming and outgoing invoices
• Utilize and take advantage of the database software to organize financial account
• Make sure to comply with the accounting and tax laws
• Filing/Organizing documents to ensure completeness of all required supporting documentation

Required skills and qualifications:

• Must have degree in accounting or similar
• Must be knowledgeable in general accounting
• Attentive to details to find inaccuracies in company’s financial records and reports
• Great analytical skills and must have a deep understanding of basic accounting functions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task to handle multiple accounts effectively
• Must be a great team-player and possess good interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of confidentiality as it relates to financial reports of the company
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and other account software
