IV. JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Interior Architect to support a fast-paced business specializing in interior renovations and new fit-outs for medical and allied health facilities, including doctor’s surgeries and dental clinics.The role requires a strong balance of efficiency and precision, ensuring all design outputs comply with Australian building standards and are delivered within tight timelines.
V. WHAT YOU’LL DO- Develop and review architectural and interior design plans for healthcare fit-out and renovation projects
- Ensure all drawings, documentation, and specifications comply with Australian building standards and regulations
- Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and the Australia-based Team Lead to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Manage project documentation, timelines, and design deliverables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Support space planning, layout development, and material/finish selections for medical and allied health environments
- Identify and resolve design or coordination issues proactively to maintain project momentum
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and reporting
- Proven experience in interior architecture, ideally within healthcare, commercial, or fit-out projects
- Strong and proven knowledge of Australian building codes and standards is a strict and non-negotiable requirement
- Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Revit, and Lumion
- Strong background in interior design, space planning, and technical drafting
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with an Australia-based Team Lead
