As a Senior AU Financial Accountant, you'll handle end-to-end accounts receivable and payable, manage compliance reporting, support month-end processes, and deliver financial clarity that drives key retail operations and strategic growth.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting
- 1-3 years' experience in managing end-to-end process of Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
- 1 year experience as Assistant Accountant
- With knowledge of Australian taxation and legislation
- Proficient in Excel, VLOOKUP, P&L (Profit & Loss Statement), General Ledger and Financial Reporting
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Your Daily Tasks
Accounts Receivable Management- Manage the end-to-end receivables process to ensure timely and accurate payment allocations
- Manage credit policies, customer collections, and account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and inventory accuracy
- Assess overdue accounts and collaborate with management on escalation strategies
- Ensure compliance with company terms of trade and credit agreements
- Process supplier invoices and ensure coding accuracy, authorisation, and timely payments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for creditor inquiries and ensure effective resolution
- Support expense processing, e-commerce transactions, and reimbursement workflows
- Reconcile and enter all credit card transactions into the system accurately
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly and annual profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and group consolidations
- Prepare, revise, and analyse Aqueo financials for CFO approval
- Prepare, revise, and analyse Praia financials for CFO approval
- Perform key financial reconciliations
- Prepare GST, BAS, and ASIC returns for Aqueo and Praia in a timely manner
- Manage the FBT preparation process for lodgement
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare cash flow reports for Aqueo and Praia
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager on budgeting and forecasting to support business operations
- Assist in preparing reports for the successful completion of the annual audit
- Monitor and report on marketing budgets
