Heavy Equipment Sales Specialist
Job Overview
Responsible for generating leads and achieving sales targets for the Company’s material handling equipment (MHE), rentals, and related services. Duties include conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining strong customer relationships with both potential and existing clients.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a good understanding of sales processes and dynamics, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Previous sales experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Generate leads and identify prospective clients for equipment sales and rental opportunities.
Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and objectives.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with prospective and existing clients.
Assist in determining pricing for quotations, promotions, and negotiations.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales and activity reports.
Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
Coordinate closely with the Operations group regarding customer requirements, deliveries, and service schedules.
Develop and maintain knowledge of the Company’s products, services, and industry applications.
Monitor customer accounts, assist in follow-ups, and coordinate collection of payments when necessary.
Prepare and submit sales-related documents, quotations, and order requirements.
Visit new and existing clients to evaluate operational needs and promote products and services.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales files.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, delivery schedules, credit terms, and equipment availability.
Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to support repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
Previous experience in sales in Heavy Equipment is an advantage
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
Good organizational and time management skills
Willing to do field work and client visits
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
With valid driver’s license is an advantage
