Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation operates vertically integrated agro-industrial and food businesses, including livestock (swine, broiler, layer, duck) and aquaculture (shrimp and fish). Our businesses are categorized into three - Feed, Farm and Food and we also operate retail and food outlets across the globe.

The Payroll Clerk’s primary role is to manage and oversee the payroll process for an organization. This includes processing payroll, handling inquiries, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws, and maintaining payroll records.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate and process employee wages, salaries, and bonuses.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of employees' wages.
• Ensure deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments, etc.) are applied correctly.
• Prepare and file necessary payroll tax reports with government agencies.
• Stay updated on local tax regulations.
• Maintain and update payroll files and records for each employee.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding their pay, deductions, and other payroll-related issues.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure employee benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.) are accurately reflected in payroll..
• Generate year-end reports, such as BIR Form 2316 or other tax documents, and ensure timely distribution.
• Ensure payroll software is up to date and operates efficiently.
• Handle all payroll information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Human Resource and Business Administration
• Prior related experience is an advantage but not required.
• Knowledgeable of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledgeable in taxes related to payroll
• Capable of handling deadlines and managing multiple payroll processes.
