  • Previous experience in retail operations, administration, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other retail-related software.
  • Basic financial knowledge, including budgeting and expense tracking.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.

OVERVIEW:

The Retail Sales Support Assistant is responsible for supporting the retail team in coordinating with various departments, including but not limited to procurement, engineering, CSG, CNC, accounting, and external stakeholders such as dealers.

This role plays a critical part in monitoring the overall retail budget and serving as the gatekeeper for all retail files and documents. The Retail Assistant ensures the smooth operation of retail processes by providing administrative and operational support while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Retail Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between the retail team and other departments (e.g., procurement, accounting, engineering, CSG, CNC) to ensure smooth retail operations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including dealers, by drafting, distributing, and tracking official company memos to ensure clear communication and alignment with retail policies and initiatives.
  • Ensure all necessary retail documents are shared, reviewed, and updated in a timely manner.
Budget Monitoring & Financial Oversight
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring the overall retail budget to ensure efficient allocation and usage.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions related to retail operations.
Document Management & Compliance
  • Serve as the primary custodian for all retail-related files and documents, ensuring proper organization, accessibility, and security.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding document retention and management.
  • Conduct periodic review to verify the accuracy and completeness of retail records.
Operational Support & Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline retail processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new retail policies, procedures, and system enhancements.
  • Additionally, perform other tasks as assigned by the superior to support overall retail operations and business objectives.
