Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing go-karts used in an indoor drift motor speedway. This role focuses on ensuring all karts are safe, reliable, and tuned for consistent drifting performance in a controlled indoor environment.

The mechanic supports daily operations by minimizing downtime and keeping the fleet race-ready for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain indoor drift go-karts, including engines or electric motors, steering, brakes, and chassis
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform timely repairs
- Tune karts for smooth drifting performance and consistent handling
- Conduct daily safety checks before opening and routine inspections throughout the day
- Perform battery maintenance and charging (for electric karts) or fuel system checks (for gas-powered karts)
- Replace worn components such as tires, brake pads, chains, and belts
- Assist track staff in quickly resolving kart issues during operations
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and tools
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience as a mechanic (automotive, small engine, or go-kart experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems (especially for electric karts)
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues efficiently
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
