Database Programmer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Database Programmer with strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL). The role involves developing, managing, and optimizing databases to support business operations and ensure data accuracy, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize MS SQL databases
Write and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
Ensure data integrity, security, and backup processes
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
Support data reporting and extraction requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to meet system and data needs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience as a Database Programmer or similar role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL)
Experience in T-SQL, stored procedures, and database design
Familiarity with performance tuning and indexing

Required Skills

MS SQL Server
T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers)
Database design and normalization
Query optimization and performance tuning
Data backup and recovery basics

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
