Baker - Cebu

Patisserie and Boulangerie, Inc. (Tangerine Kitchen – Breads and Pastries) an affiliate company of International Culinary Arts Academy Cebu (ICAAC) is in need of a BAKER.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods following recipes and company standards.
• Measure, mix, and combine ingredients accurately to achieve desired taste and texture.
• Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofing machines.
• Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection.
• Decorate and finish baked items as required (e.g., glazing, icing, filling).
• Ensure work area, tools, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and maintained at all times.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures.
• Assist in developing new recipes or improving existing products.
• Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and inform management when restocking is needed.
• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules and customer demand.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or similar role (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle baking equipment.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for baking.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Educational Requirement:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary or Baking certification is a plus).
