Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Supply Chain Analyst to lead the execution of data-informed strategies for product cost performance through defined KPI: Material Margin, MOQ and PPV optimization. This role is critical in monitoring material margin and cost efficiency activities at the customer product level within a dynamic contract manufacturing environment serving the semiconductor industry.
The ideal candidate will combine strong supply chain knowledge with financial acumen and data analysis skills to drive high quality execution of the strategic cost road map of UCT Global Supply Chain.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer product-level material usage, cost structures, and supplier terms to develop and implement MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) optimization to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining service levels.
- Drive the execution of material margin improvement initiatives for customer products, identifying and implementing opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering in collaboration with procurement, engineering, and operations.
- Collaborate with finance and costing teams to ensure standard costs are accurate, updated with current BOMs and supplier pricing.
- Monitor and improve purchase price variance (PPV) performance through proactive sourcing decisions, negotiation support, and demand planning alignment.
- Lead product-level performance analysis, including cost trends, margin erosion, material availability, and risk exposure, to support strategic business decisions.
- Participate with Analyst stakeholders to dashboards, regular KPI reporting mechanisms to track performance of material cost, PPV, and margin at the customer-product level.
- Support cross-functional initiatives involving supply chain, operations, engineering, and finance to enable holistic and sustainable improvements.
- Ensure Data Quality related to Customer product is high and consistent
- Support S&OP and material planning processes by ensuring optimized material strategies are reflected in planning parameters and execution tactics for customer products.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or Six Sigma training.
- Experience working in a contract manufacturing model with customer-specific requirements.
- Familiarity with semiconductor or high-tech industry supply chain dynamics, including long lead-time and constrained supply markets.
Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Power BI, SAP, or related tools are a plus
Experience Requirement:
- BA/BS degree in business administration, operations management, or equivalent experience
- CPIM/CIRM certification a plus
- 3+ years supply chain planning and analytics experience with working knowledge of quick-turn, low volume, engineer-to-order production environment
- 3+ years of experience using advanced planning tools such as Kinaxis, APO or ASCP strongly preferred.
