Client Onboarding Support (Onsite)

Job Description:

  • Request and collect KYC documentation for review and processing.
  • Understand, process, and organise a high volume of case documentation, including sources of funds, documents of incorporation, and general account opening documents.
  • Perform the due diligence on individual, corporate and institutional clients including information/data collection, checking, validation and verification (using third party vendor software when necessary).
  • Understand and comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (AML/KYC/CTF) for client onboarding in the jurisdiction which our group entities operate.
  • Collate completed documentation and create/update client profiles for KYC cases with high accuracy and adherence to local policy standards.
  • Make sound, risk-based conclusions and recommendations to our internal process and control monitoring.
  • Work closely with various internal departments, including onboarding, sales, and trading to ensure efficient and client friendly customer onboarding experience.

Qualifications:

  • Has 1-3 years of experience in handling client onboarding, covering institutional, corporate & high-net-worth individual clients.
  • Experience in being directly client-facing is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations related to client onboarding due diligence including AML & CTF Ordinances, primarily in the APAC region.
  • Interest in process innovation and automation to make the onboarding processes more scalable.
  • Positive attitude to handle multiple tasks in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment
  • Keen on exploring and developing a career in the digital asset industry.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills, fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, with Chinese language processing skills preferred.
  • Previous experience in and knowledge of contactless, digital identification within the client onboarding process will be highly regarded.
