About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our growing Finance team at our office in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of our client receivables and maintaining the financial health of the organisation.

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and processing customer payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall credit control function. Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will be essential in this position, which directly impacts cash flow management and financial reporting accuracy.

Key responsibilities
  1. Processing and recording customer invoices and payments in the accounting system with accuracy and timeliness
  2. Monitoring outstanding invoices and identifying overdue accounts requiring follow-up action
  3. Contacting customers regarding outstanding payments, arranging payment plans, and resolving billing discrepancies
  4. Preparing and maintaining ageing reports and reconciliations of accounts receivable balances
  5. Assisting with credit assessments and recommendations for new and existing customers
  6. Investigating and resolving payment disputes and discrepancies with customers and internal departments
  7. Supporting the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements and reconciliations
  8. Maintaining organised records and documentation related to customer accounts and transactions
  9. Liaising with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate customer information and account management
  10. Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of credit policies and procedures
What we're looking for
  1. A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in accounts receivable or credit control
  2. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with strong data entry and spreadsheet skills
  3. A solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and credit management principles
  4. Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to work accurately with financial data and figures
  5. Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
  6. Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
  7. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all work
  8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  9. Experience with financial systems, ERP software, or SAP is desirable
  10. Knowledge of Philippine taxation and regulatory requirements is advantageous
