Building Engineer/AutoCad Operator

About the role

As a Building Engineer/AutoCad Operator at FOODEE GLOBAL CONCEPTS, you will play a crucial role in the design, development and maintenance of the company's structural infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Metro Manila and will involve utilising your technical skills and expertise in civil/structural engineering to ensure the company's facilities are safe, efficient and compliant with industry standards.

• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings and designs for new constructions and renovations
• Conduct structural assessments and evaluate the integrity of existing buildings and facilities
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to oversee the implementation of engineering solutions
• Identify and recommend improvements to building systems and structures to enhance safety and functionality
• Ensure all construction and engineering work adheres to relevant codes, regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all engineering activities
• Provide technical support and guidance to other departments as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar building engineer or AutoCAD operator role
• Strong proficiency in using AutoCAD and other design software
• Sound knowledge of building codes, construction practices and engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
