HR Generalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This position is responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and training.

The ideal candidate will be people-focused, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviews, and offer letters.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and orientation of new hires.
  • Employee Relations
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support conflict resolution and handle employee grievances in accordance with company policies.
  • Benefits & Compensation
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy of timekeeping and deductions.
  • Compliance & Record-Keeping
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
  • Performance Management & Training
  • Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
  • Identify training needs and help coordinate development initiatives.
  • HR Projects & Reporting
  • Participate in HR initiatives such as employee engagement, DEI, and wellness programs.
  • Generate HR reports and metrics as needed for management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant HR experience; generalist background preferred.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and integrity with confidential information.
