The Opportunity

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Assist in managing our AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and MongoDB Atlas.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
• Help design, implement, and maintain our CI/CD pipeline for seamless deployments.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance.
• Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Backend: Python (Django ORM), AWS Lambda, Microservices Infrastructure
• Containerization: Docker or similar environments
• Operating Systems: Unix-based CLI
• Version Control: GIT
• Frontend: React JS, React Native
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB
• Real-time Communication: WebSockets
• API: REST
• AWS Services: Elasticache, SQS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, ECR

• Proficiency in backend development, particularly with Python and Django
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud services
• Experience with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch Logs and Logs Insights for monitoring and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
