Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer who brings deep Adobe Illustrator expertise alongside confident fluency in modern AI design tools to produce clean, manufacturer-ready artwork. This part-time role is focused on creating original designs, refining AI-generated concepts, converting files into production-ready vector formats, and handling occasional website updates as needed.
The ideal candidate is both creatively strong and technically precise, with the ability to move fluidly between design work and straightforward digital tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce original graphic designs in Adobe Illustrator tailored to product and manufacturing specifications
- Leverage AI design tools — including ChatGPT and image generation platforms — to speed up ideation and generate initial design drafts
- Convert AI-generated raster outputs in JPEG or PDF format into clean, production-ready vector files
- Prepare and package finalized design files in the exact formats required for manufacturer handoff
- Apply precise iterative refinements and edits to designs in response to structured feedback
- Carry out minor website edits and updates as they arise
- Organize and maintain design files within Google Drive to support clear version control and smooth handoff
- Follow written instructions and established SOPs to produce accurate, consistent, and on-brief work every time
- Keep stakeholders informed of progress, turnaround expectations, and any blockers throughout the workflow
Mandatory Skills:
- Expert-level Adobe Illustrator proficiency with a professional portfolio that demonstrates technical range
- Demonstrated ability to vectorize raster images and produce clean, print- and manufacturer-ready production files
- Confident working knowledge of AI design tools including ChatGPT and image generation platforms
- Skilled in prompt engineering to consistently generate accurate and usable AI design outputs
- A discerning eye for typography, color, composition, proportion, and visual detail
- Experience managing and sharing design files through Google Drive for team collaboration
- Reliable and detail-focused, with the ability to deliver consistent quality independently
- Clear and responsive communication throughout project workflows
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience preparing artwork specifically for physical product manufacturing or commercial print production
- Working familiarity with additional Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop or InDesign
- Basic website editing experience such as page copy updates, image replacements, or minor layout adjustments
- Creative problem-solving ability with a habit of looking for ways to improve design workflows
- Comfortable handling several concurrent design projects without losing precision or quality
