The Role
We are looking for an Onsite Video Editor who lives and breathes Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
Working from our office, you will turn sports highlights, athlete clips, and app footage into exciting, fast-paced video ads. Your main goal is to make scroll-stopping videos that make people want to click and download the Brain1 app.
What You Will Do- Create for IG & YouTube: Edit short, high-energy videos tailored specifically for Instagram Reels/Ads and YouTube Shorts.
- Edit Sports Highlights: Cut and edit dynamic sports clips, athlete drills, and high-performance moments, blending them smoothly with shots of our app.
- Add Text & Effects: Design clean, trendy on-screen captions and text overlays so the videos make sense even without sound.
- Make Multiple Versions: Create different versions of the same video (changing the text or the first 3 seconds) to see what gets the most downloads.
- Work with the Team: Brainstorm live with our onsite marketing team to turn fresh sports trends into videos quickly.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience editing short-form videos for social media or marketing.
- A Sports Fan: You genuinely love sports and know exactly how to edit sports footage to make it look exciting (knowing when to slow down, zoom in, or cut to the beat to build hype).
- Platform Knowledge: You know what kinds of videos do well on Instagram vs. YouTube Shorts.
- Software Skills: Highly skilled in CapCut and comfortable using modern AI video tools to speed up workflow or enhance content.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with After Effects (AE) or Adobe Premiere Pro is a major plus!
- Onsite Ready: Willing to work full-time at our [Insert Location] office.
