System Administrator (Onsite Setup)

Job Description

The System Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, including on-premise and cloud-based server environments. This role supports high-level technical escalations (Level 3), ensures the stability and security of systems, and plays a critical part in IT operations, compliance, and business continuity planning.

The ideal candidate will act as a domain administrator, manage system configurations, enforce IT governance policies, and provide technical leadership to junior team members. The role also includes participation in audits, security initiatives, and global IT operations support.

• Administer and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure (on-premise and cloud).
• Manage Active Directory, domain authentication, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Provide access and user account provisioning based on the access control matrix.
• Perform system monitoring, verify logs, and ensure completion of daily scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Install, update, and patch operating systems, applications, and admin tools regularly.
• Configure and manage server resources including CPU, memory, and disk partitions.
• Implement and monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP) measures to secure RTO and WFH setups.
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and ongoing system optimization.
• Maintain accurate and updated documentation for internal audits and technical processes.
• Ensure compliance with Information Security Management System (ISMS), ISO 27001, SOC-2 Type 2, and NIST standards.
• Follow change management policies and incident response protocols.
• Guide and mentor junior IT staff to ensure knowledge transfer and team capability.
• Participate in failover and disaster recovery testing in accordance with Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
• Support IT operations for Level 1 to Level 3 issues, both onsite and on-call.
• Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to resolve infrastructure-related concerns.
• Participate actively in internal and external audit preparations and client compliance requirements.
• Maintain logs of security training attended and report non-compliance or ISMS weaknesses as necessary.

• Windows Server Administration (2022 and newer)
• Active Directory, LDAP, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Radius, IIS
• Virtualization: VMware ESXi, Nutanix, Citrix Netscalers
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, Office 365, Exchange, Teams
• Endpoint Security and Enterprise Antivirus
• Data Loss Prevention Tools (e.g., Druva)
• Backup Solutions (e.g., Barracuda, Nutanix)
• PowerShell/Shell scripting
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Linux (Red Hat), iOS/macOS
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, ICMP)
• CCTV and access control system integration (preferred)

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or enterprise support
• Strong technical documentation, communication, and diagnostic skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines under pressure
