As a Compliance Staff at ACOM, you will play a crucial role in providing support to ensure that the company adheres to legal, regulatory, and internal standards and policies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensures the company’s compliance with the applicable Philippine regulatory compliance matters.
- Possess substantial experience in handling transactions and regulatory submissions with the SEC, AMLC, NPC, and other relevant government agencies.
- Demonstrated competence in drafting and reviewing compliance manuals, policies, and formal business communications in accordance with current regulatory standards.
- Capable of planning and overseeing compliance-related projects and should be well versed in the procedures for securing and renewing business permits.
- Performs routine checks to ensure the company’s adherence to applicable laws and regulations and other tasks related may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree holder, Legal Management, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance or any related courses.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the financing or lending industry.
- Experienced in the acquisition and renewal of permits/licenses with different government agencies.
- Strong background on different rules and regulations of governing authorities (e.g. BIR, AMLC, SEC, etc.)
- Negotiation skill with LGU officers in order to reduce unnecessary conflict with LGU.
- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas Center.
