This job description outlines the roles and responsibilities for the position of LEAD PRODUCT DESIGNER- Identification of user issues for specific development projects.
- Investigate solutions to user issues.
- Improvement of design quality to the products for which he/she is in charge.
- UI design for development projects.
- Development and dissemination of design systems.
- Manage stakeholders’ requirements and incorporate them into the product design.
- Help implement design tools and processes to speed up and simplify workflow.
- Run design critiques and reviews to share your expertise with other designers.
- Mentor and access quality of junior designer’s work.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- At least five years of product design experience, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-centered design thinking.
- Experience leading design teams, mentoring junior designers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Should possess a mix of design expertise, leadership skills, and collaboration abilities.
- Must be fluent in speaking Nihonggo or Japanese Language
