Assistant Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Support the Manager in supervising daily FOH operations and staff.
2. Assist in handling guest inquiries, concerns, and service recovery situations.
3. Supervise and guide front-of-house team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
4. Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and daily briefings.
5. Monitor table turnover, reservations, and seating arrangements during service.
6. Ensure cleanliness, proper table setup, and adherence to restaurant standards.
7. Conduct opening and closing duties as assigned.
8. Support training and onboarding of new FOH staff.
9. Maintain communication between FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless service.
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager or General Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts or a related field
• With at least 2 years previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in a restaurant
• With leadership/people management skills
• Knowledgeable in scheduling assistance, restaurant SOP
• With good communication skills for handling customer and staffs
