A Food Server is responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service to guests in a restaurant or food service setting. They ensure that guests have a pleasant dining experience by being attentive, courteous, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner
• Ensure that guests’ dining experience is pleasant, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns
• Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
• Process customer payments through the POS system, credit cards, and other methods of payment
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Be knowledgeable about menu items, including daily specials, ingredients, and preparation methods

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School and College Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Industry or any related is accepted
• Previous experience as a Server or in the Food and Beverage industry is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest complaints professionally
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays or dishes for extended periods
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others
