General Responsibility
The IT Administrator & Systems Support Specialist is responsible for managing the company's IT assets, systems, and user support functions to ensure secure, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. The role provides technical support, oversees IT onboarding and offboarding, monitors business-critical systems, and drives continuous improvements to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
Roles and Responsibilities- IT Asset Management
- Maintain accurate records and inventory of company-issued laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, SIM cards, and other IT assets.
- Monitor asset issuance, retrieval, replacement, maintenance, and disposal.
- Coordinate procurement and sourcing of IT equipment and services.
- Ensure IT assets are properly documented, secured, and utilized.
- User Setup, Onboarding, and Offboarding
- Prepare and configure devices, user accounts, software, and system access for new employees.
- Facilitate account deactivation, access removal, and device retrieval for separated employees.
- Ensure compliance with company security and data privacy policies.
- Identify and escalate potential security risks and access-related concerns.
- Systems Administration and Technical Support
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical concerns in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining and improving company systems and technology infrastructure.
- Employee Training and System Support
- Conduct orientation and training sessions on company systems and business applications, including HRIS and accounting systems.
- Assist employees in effectively using company tools and technology platforms.
- Develop and maintain user guides and training materials.
- Recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities.
- Security, CCTV, and GPS Monitoring
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality and coverage.
- Coordinate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV equipment.
- Monitor GPS tracking systems and provide reports as required.
- Assist management in reviewing CCTV and GPS records for operational and security purposes.
- Reporting and Cross-Functional Support
- Maintain records of software licenses, subscriptions, user access, and IT activities.
- Prepare reports on asset utilization, system performance, and support activities.
- Work closely with Human Resources on onboarding, offboarding, and employee system access.
- Support technology-related projects and other initiatives assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in IT administration, technical support, or systems support.
- Experience in an FMCG environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, software installation, networking, and user account management.
- Experience with HRIS, accounting systems, CCTV systems, GPS tracking platforms, and IT asset management is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to train and support employees with varying levels of technical proficiency.
- Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
