Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

Sales Generation
  • Generate sales from walk-in customers, contractors, designers, and project clients
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs for furnishing and finishing materials
  • Conduct showroom selling and field visits for project-based accounts
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, interior designers, and homeowners
  • Handle inquiries, quotations, and negotiations professionally
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat or referral business
Product Knowledge and Presentation
  • Maintain strong knowledge of furnishing and finishing materials such as tiles, sanitary ware, paints, boards, fixtures, accessories, and related products
  • Provide product recommendations based on design, budget, and functional requirements
  • Explain product specifications, applications, installation considerations, and warranties
Sales Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales-related documents
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of sales records
  • Submit regular sales reports to management
Market and Competitor Awareness
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities
  • Gather customer feedback and provide insights to management
After-Sales Support and Coordination
  • Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and finance for order fulfillment
  • Provide after-sales assistance and ensure timely resolution of issues

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or any related course
Work Experience
  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of furnishing and finishing materials and their applications
  • Ability to prepare quotations, cost estimates, and sales documentation
  • Computer literate (MS Office, POS, or sales systems)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
