Job Highlights:
Dining Staff / Server / Waiter / Waitress are responsible for providing excellent customer service by attending to guests’ needs, taking orders (for à la carte), refilling buffet stations, and ensuring a clean and organized dining area. They play a key role in customer satisfaction and restaurant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service - Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner. For à la carte: Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen. For buffet: Explain buffet options, refill water and clear tables promptly.
- Table Management - Set, clean, and reset tables quickly and properly. Monitor table status and guest flow, ensuring quick turnaround for new guests.
- Coordination - Coordinate with kitchen and cashier staff for timely service. Handle special requests, guest complaints, or escalate to the supervisor if needed.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation - Maintain cleanliness of the dining area in compliance with food safety standards. Follow hygiene protocols as per DOLE and DOH guidelines.
- Up-selling and Promotions - Inform guests of specials, promotions, and new items. Offer additional items like beverages or desserts to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management/Services
- Experience in food service, retail, or customer service is an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail, honest, and able to multitask
- Professional appearance, courteous demeanour, and strong sense of responsibility
- Familiar with POS systems and basic computation
Working Conditions:
- May require long hours of standing
- Exposure to kitchen equipment, food ingredients, and varying temperatures
- Shift-based schedule, including weekends and Philippine holidays
- May be assigned to different branches as needed
- Maintain 100% accuracy in transactions
- Report for duty on time and comply with attendance and uniform policies
- Work may involve both indoor and outdoor tasks, depending on store layout
