Job Description

• Trains new and existing employees on operating various sewing machines and following proper techniques to produce garments or other sewn products
• Instructing employees on how to operate sewing machines (e.g., overlock, single-needle, specialized machines) and other equipment
• Showing proper techniques for sewing, pattern placement, fabric handling, and finishing
• Ensure employees understand and adhere to quality standards and production timelines
• Ensuring employees understand and maintain quality standards, including identifying and correcting defects
• Demonstrating techniques, providing feedback, and sometimes developing training plans
• Guiding employees to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Helping employees solve problems with machines or sewing techniques
• Assisting in developing training materials and potentially creating sample garments
• Tracking employee progress and performance during training.
• May be required to adjust training based on new product styles or processes.
• Ensuring employees understand and adhere to safety guidelines when operating machinery

• Extensive experience at least 10 years with various sewing machines and techniques
• Can speak fluently, read and write Chinese language
• Ability to diagnose and resolve sewing and machine-related issues
• Understanding of industry standards for sewn products
• Familiarity with various fabrics and their handling
