Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervision and Team Management
  • Supervise and mentor HR team members, providing guidance and support in their daily responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities for HR staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the HR team.
  1. Recruitment and Staffing
  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  1. Employee Relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Address and resolve employee conflicts and grievances, promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.
  1. Performance Management
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely evaluations and feedback.
  • Work with managers to develop performance improvement plans and support employee development.
  • Monitor team performance metrics and report on trends to senior management.
  1. Training and Development
  • Assess training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Provide or arrange training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  1. Compliance and Policy Implementation
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  1. Data Management and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring statistics, and employee satisfaction.
  • Analyze data to inform HR strategies and recommend improvements.
  1. Collaboration and Communication
  • Collaborate with other departments to address HR-related needs and coordinate initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with employees and management to foster transparency and trust.
  • Participate in strategic planning and initiatives that support organizational objectives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and labor relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
