Key Responsibilities- Supervision and Team Management
- Supervise and mentor HR team members, providing guidance and support in their daily responsibilities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities for HR staff.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the HR team.
- Recruitment and Staffing
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Address and resolve employee conflicts and grievances, promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.
- Performance Management
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely evaluations and feedback.
- Work with managers to develop performance improvement plans and support employee development.
- Monitor team performance metrics and report on trends to senior management.
- Training and Development
- Assess training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Provide or arrange training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Compliance and Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates, hiring statistics, and employee satisfaction.
- Analyze data to inform HR strategies and recommend improvements.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with other departments to address HR-related needs and coordinate initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with employees and management to foster transparency and trust.
- Participate in strategic planning and initiatives that support organizational objectives.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and labor relations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
