Position Summary:
The Prosthetic Care Representative (PCR) is a field-based role responsible for supporting patients by delivering prosthetic services during scheduled visits to hospitals and patients’ homes. These services include stump assessments, 3D scanning, prosthetic fitting, and patient instruction on safe use and maintenance of their prosthetic leg.
All activities are supervised and guided by Senior DPEs or Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists (CPOs) to ensure clinical and technical accuracy. This position also requires handling travel logistics, managing prosthetic devices and accessories, and completing administrative documentation.
The role involves weekly overnight travel and nationwide assignment, and is best suited for proactive, hands-on individuals committed to improving lives through mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Technical Services- Conduct pre-fitting stump assessments, under supervision
- Perform 3D scanning of amputated limbs for prosthesis fabrication
- Assist in fitting 3D-printed prosthetic legs, ensuring proper alignment and comfort
- Provide patients with basic gait training and safety instructions
- Educate patients on prosthetic care and maintenance
- Collect feedback and report any clinical concerns to supervising CPOs or Senior DPEs
- Arrange transportation, hotel bookings, and other travel logistics for field assignments
- Handle cash advances and reimbursement documentation
- Prepare required accessories and devices, and request gate passes as necessary
- Maintain schedules set for each travel
- Manage inventory of devices and tools before and after patrol
- Check all returned devices and report any missing or damaged items
- Ensure proper handling and transport of 3D scanning equipment and prosthetic components
- Complete and submit check sheets for each patient after fitting
- Upload approved patient data to internal systems such as Instalimb ONE
- Follow internal reporting procedures and provide updates via Slack
- Ensure payment from the patients are made according to the contract, issue receipts and invoices.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school graduate
- Valid motorbike and car driver’s license
- Must pass a written test
- Willing to start immediately
- Open to nationwide assignments and relocation
- Willing to work Monday to Saturday (48 hours/week); overtime may be required
