Medical Billing Specialist (Data Entry)

This role involves processing payments, handling electronic and manual postings, assigning claims to collections, and communicating with offices for additional information. Training will be provided for our bespoke software, but candidates should already have a basic understanding of the system.

• Processing both electronic and manual payment postings, including check entry, uploading scanned images, and disbursing payments to the correct accounts
• Assigning claims to collections and communicating with offices for additional information
• Undergoing comprehensive training in specific processes and software used by the customer

• Graveyard Shift

• Prior experience in U.S. medical billing and/or credentialing, with hands-on exposure to relevant systems and processes
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and understanding of medical claim workflows
• Understanding of insurance claim processes, including primary and secondary billing
• Willingness and capability to undergo comprehensive training in specific processes and software used by the customer
• Prior experience with medical billing software is highly preferred
• Passed Third Party Background Investigation
• Experience in a call center environment
• Familiarity with handling denials, assigning claims to collections, and communicating (via messages, not calls) with offices for missing information or authorizations
• Adaptability to learn new systems and processes quickly, with support from training materials and ongoing guidance
