As our Pre-Sale Media Planner, you will act as the bridge between sales strategy and execution. You’ll be responsible for structuring media plans across a diverse portfolio—including banners, newsletters, print, and high-touch sponsorships—ensuring every proposal is data-driven and flawlessly executed in our internal systems.
What does a day in the life of a Media Planner (Pre-Sale Specialist) look like?- Media Plan Construction: Build comprehensive media plans based on sales requests and RFPs using Booster (our Order Management System).
- Sales Support: Participate early in the sales cycle to provide strategic planning support and proposal development.
- Diverse Format Management: Structure plans that include banners, digital newsletters, print placements, and custom sponsorships.
- The "Clean Handoff": Prepare and finalize all proposals for the sales team. Once approved, you’ll hand off the project to traffickers and account managers—no post-sale campaign management required.
- Internal Data Integrity: Perform meticulous data entry and updates within our CRM and internal tracking systems.
- Asset Coordination: Manage light external communication with clients to gather necessary assets during the proposal stage.
- Excel Mastery (Non-Negotiable): You should be comfortable with advanced functions, pivot tables, and managing large datasets. Accuracy is your North Star.
- Attention to Detail: You take pride in "one-and-done" builds, minimizing the need for revisions or back-and-forth with the sales team.
- System Savvy: Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) or CRMs is highly preferred; experience with Booster is a significant plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with internal sales stakeholders and external clients regarding asset requirements.
- Efficiency: Proven ability to manage multiple RFPs simultaneously under tight deadlines.
