Collections Officer
About the role
BMG Realty Corp. is seeking a Collections Officer to join our property management team in Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our real estate portfolio by collecting rent from our Tenants.
What you'll be doing- Proactively collecting rent and issuing Service Invoices from our tenants
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all tenant accounts and payment in the system
- Collaborating with the property management officers to address any issues or concerns related to rent collections and tenant concerns
- Providing detailed reports on collection activities and identifying areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing the collections process
- Delivering statement of accounts, notices and correspondences to tenants
- Depositing rent collections to the bank
- Minimum 2nd year college
- Experience in collections, preferably in the real estate or property management industry is an advantage
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations tactfully
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer Literate
- Experience in using financial and collections spreadsheet (MS Excel) is an advantage
- A team player with a customer-oriented mindset
- Willing to work overtime if needed
