Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for a Civil Design Engineer and be part of the Transport and Civil Infrastructure group, delivering geometric design and modelling who has expertise with a broad civil engineering background.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Perform civil designer task to assist with geometric design and modelling (Earthworks, drainage, roads, utilities, water/wastewater and geotechnical)
- Support and coach less experienced members of the team.
- Delivering geometric design work/projects within assignment/project scope, on time and budget
- Calling out issues and risks - Proactively communicating issues/changes that may impact project budget, deadlines or personal utilization.
- Achieving client satisfaction with positive feedback and repeat business.
- Keeping knowledge current, including technical, regulatory and industry trends.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- A valid civil engineering professional license.
- Broad knowledge of the discipline or advanced technical expertise, ideally gained in a relevant industry or consulting environment
- Strong grasp of engineering principles, with a high aptitude for planning and design
- Solid understanding of applicable standards and guidelines
- Excellent skills in data analysis, and interpretation
- Proficiency in Autocad and Civil 3D
- Civil Engineering Experience (preferred areas):
- Earthworks
- Drainage
- Roads
- Utilities
- Water/Wastewater (not necessary but advantageous)
- Geotechnical (not necessary but advantageous
- Experience working with or for an Australian engineering firm or on Australian projects (experience in Sydney or NSW is a plus, but not required)
- Hands-on experience with modeling and drafting tools such as:
- Civil 3D
- AutoCAD
- 12D Model (preferred but not essential)
- Vehicle Swept Path Analysis tools like AutoTurn or Vehicle Tracking
- Accredited training using the above applications are not necessary but advantageous
This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base / location.
