  1. BASIC FUNCTIONS 1. Develop landscape concepts and enhancement plans for all assigned areas of the property.
  2. Prepare detailed project timelines, material specifications, labor requirements, and budget estimates for all landscaping initiatives.
  3. Oversee the execution of approved landscape projects to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with approved designs.
  4. Coordinate with Golf Course Maintenance regarding irrigation, turf interfaces, access requirements, and operational impact.
  5. Ensure landscaping projects enhance the guest experience while maintaining practical long-term maintenance requirements.
  6. Source and recommend suitable plants, trees, decorative materials, and landscape features appropriate to the local climate and operational environment.
  7. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Director of Golf regarding timelines, challenges, and budget performance.
  8. Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and detailing standards within landscaped areas.
  9. Identify opportunities for improvement and modernization of existing landscaped spaces throughout the property.
  10. Support sustainability initiatives through practical plant selection, water-conscious landscaping, and environmentally responsible practices.
  11. PRIMARY DUTIES 1. Design and implement landscape improvement projects around the clubhouse, Hilltop, driving range, and golf course.
  12. Produce clear and organized landscape proposals including sketches, layouts, mood boards, or concept plans where required.
  13. Prepare costings and budget breakdowns for labor, materials, plants, hardscape elements, and contractor requirements.
  14. Supervise the landscape team and assign daily operational responsibilities.
  15. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and project execution.
  16. Monitor plant health and replacement requirements across landscaped areas.
  17. Ensure all landscaped areas are maintained to a high presentation standard.
  18. Assist in preparation for tournaments, VIP visits, events, and high-occupancy periods.
  19. Recommend seasonal planting strategies and enhancement projects throughout the year.
  20. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within approved budgets and timelines.
  21. HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Maintain professional working relationships with all departments.
  22. Supervise and guide landscape staff to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
  23. Ensure all team members follow company policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures.
  24. Assist in training and developing landscape personnel.
  25. Maintain a professional, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach within the department.
  26. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by Management.
  27. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY 1. Ensure safe work practices are always followed.
  28. Monitor proper handling and storage of landscaping tools, chemicals, and materials.
  29. Identify and report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.
  30. Ensure all incidents and accidents are properly documented and reported.
  31. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED 1. Perform other related duties assigned by the Director of Golf.
  32. Participate in operational planning and property improvement discussions.
  33. Support environmentally responsible landscaping and waste reduction initiatives.
  34. Act as a positive representative of Mimosa Plus Golf and always uphold company standards.
