Job Description

As a part of the PKSS team, the VP of Operations will have an exponential opportunity to empower the fiercely ambitious to reach the most audacious goals.

The VP of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and driving the extensive and sustainable growth of the organization through operational excellence.

High-level Responsibilities
  • Innovate across the business and execute the overall strategy: The VP-Operations will be accountable for business efficiency. You must catalyze specific change initiatives within the organization, lead the execution of organizational development, mentor and inspire employees to key into the management's vision, among others.
  • Establish procedures to advance the company's culture and vision: The VP-Operations plays a crucial role in driving the overall Operations culture and ensures that it aligns with the company values and promotes a good balance of support and accountability.
  • Oversee the company's operations: You will manage a wide range of company processes as you drive the strategic direction of Operations. Ultimately, you will supervise business operations and employee productivity, fostering an inclusive culture that enables team members to thrive and fulfill corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate to achieve business objectives: As the key driver of Operations strategy, you will work closely with the executive leadership team to develop and meet company goals, manage risks and drive sustainable solutions while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
  • Track the metrics that matter: Constantly evaluate the organization's performance in meeting objectives and determine where costs can be reduced, what can be improved and what should be changed.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Leadership
  • Drive the company's operational and financial success by collaborating closely with the CEO, and other key executive team members.
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for operations performance and growth, helping implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.
  • Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.
  • Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the company's key leaders, including but not limited to professional staff, management-level employees, and executive leadership team members.
  • Provide strong leadership, and give clear direction and guidance to the leadership team while simultaneously allowing them the autonomy to operate successfully.
  • Operations
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to develop, execute, and roll out plans for operational procedures, internal infrastructures, reporting systems, and business policies, all of which are geared toward fostering the firm's development, profitability, and efficiency.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports summarizing the company's operating status.
  • Ensure that successful growth plans and procedures are developed, communicated, and implemented.
  • Assist members of the team in developing, expanding, and establishing a world-class, industry-leading delegation company.
  • Finance
  • Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation programs with other senior executives.
  • Form strategic alliances and ties with clients, suppliers, banks, investors, and all other professional business contacts.
  • Support the CEO in achieving positive financial outcomes in the areas of operations, profitability, cash flow, systems, reporting, and controls.
Your Metrics
  • Employee Engagement and Retention Rates: Improve P.K.S.S.’s culture by facilitating conversations that increase team involvement, people engagement, and retention
  • Operating Margins and Cash Flow: Monitor operating income and net sales and drive continuous growth by understanding the financial impact of P.K.S.S’s day-to-day activities
  • Program Efficiency and Completion: Manage conversations with selected partners across the business that can fast-track the achievement of goals and implementation of priority projects
  • Business outcomes: Monitor operating income and net sales and drive continuous growth by understanding the financial impact of P.K.S.S’s day-to-day activities

Qualifications/Requirements

About You
  • Proven experience as a vice president in operation
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in leadership and operational roles
  • Proven track record and experience in executing a company’s vision through operational excellence
  • A solid sounding board for the CEO and the Leadership Team when it comes to balancing views on operations
  • Experience working with large teams, scaling operations, and working with leaders in the startup/tech landscape
  • Extraordinary ability to keep an organization's high-level strategy at the highest priority while executing the daily activities required to see it through
  • Data-driven mindset coupled with a results-driven approach to business so that the vision translates into profitable operations
  • Possesses a track record of successful operations leadership to steer the company in the right direction
  • Exceptional at managing, leading, and supervising team members to navigate uncertainty and fulfill corporate objectives expertly
  • Superior decision-making skills and delegation skills to discern when to take on a project and when to hand it over to another team
  • Knowledge of corporate functions such as human resources, finance, marketing, and customer service
  • Philippines-based is a plus
  • Experience with change management is preferred
  • Excellent communicator can speak English and Korean with a superb ability to resolve problems and mediate conflict even within uncertain business climate
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment which may, at times, require extended hours in support of urgent business or client needs
  • Willing to work on a full time basis.
  • The role follows a hybrid work setup, requiring in-office presence based on business performance and operational needs.
  • The reporting office location may be Rizal
