About the role
As a Software Developer at Ascendion, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that drive the company's technology initiatives. This is a full-time role based in Makati City, Metro Manila, where you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team working on cutting-edge projects.
What you'll be doing- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architectural design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using a variety of programming languages and frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development
- Continuously improve development processes and practices to enhance productivity and code quality
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with web development frameworks and technologies, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and come up with innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the software development industry
