Posted on 15 April 2026- Physical Implementation - Create full-custom layout designs for analog/mixed-signal blocks in advanced CMOS nodes.
- Performance Optimization - Ensure proper component placement, routing, and shielding to minimize parasitics, signal noise, and power consumption.
- Verification - Run and debug physical verification checks, including Design Rule Check (DRC), Layout Versus Schematic (LVS), Electromigration (EM), and Antenna rules.
- Collaboration - Work with circuit designers to define floorplans and strategies, discuss specifications and constraints, and resolve design trade-offs.
- Documentation - Create documentation for layout design results, design guidelines, and techniques.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, or any related field.
- Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso XL/GXL, Mentor Graphics Calibre (or similar verification tools).
- Deep understanding of analog layout techniques and considerations (matching, shielding, common centroid, guard rings)
